FIRST SUNDAY IN ADVENT

Stay awake, the Lord is coming
'Hold your heads high... your liberation is at hand' Lk 21:28

"Advent" means "coming"

PRAYER:
O Jesus, Your words echo through our hearts:
Be on your guard!

Stay awake!

Speak to my heart during this season of Advent,

as you spoke to your disciples.

Remind me again of the faith journey you have called me to make.

I am your servant, O Lord.

Speak to me in this holy season of Advent and turn my eyes to watch for your coming.
